This probably won't seem as drastic to you guys but it is to me.
See, I've never been in many life-threatening situations.
I'm not that kind of person.
A few nights ago, there was a power outage at my house. Someone had crashed into a power line somewhere else and knocked down the pole. With nothing else to do, I attempted to go on like it was a normal night, getting ready for bed and lying awake in the darkness. Somewhere around three in the morning (I know this because I have a battery-powered alarm clock) I woke up feeling really dizzy. I couldn't focus or think straight, so something in me said to step outside. I managed to get down the stairs and unlock the door, and when I got out my head cleared. I realized what had happened.
My room had run out of oxygen and I was slowly suffocating in my bed.
If I had stayed there any longer I would've been dead in the morning.
That's a very scary experience to have when you don't venture far from your own house often.
Maybe it doesn't seem like much to you guys but I'm still kind of shaken up about it.
Thanks for caring.

Also how in the world did you room lose oxygen because of a power outage, do you live in outerspace or something?

Reply WiispNightmare, July 13th, 2016, 6:50 am

@9rainbowtails: No, it's because there was no air flow in my room. And before you say just open a window, there was literally NO BREEZE that night.

Reply AssassinPerson, July 12th, 2016, 7:06 pm

Holy moly!
Have a virtual internet hug, glad you are still alive. I've not had anything quite as serious as that before!

Reply WiispNightmare, July 13th, 2016, 6:51 am

@Espyius: Not monoxide, just lack of oxygen.
No airflow can be just as dangerous as no air period.

(I say this like 3 days after this was posted but)
Good thing that your alive! *hugz*

A day later you're so calm about it

Wiisp jeez you're so emotionally strong

I am soo glad you survived I mean
I joined in August so I wouldn't get a chance to meet this amazing person,

But that's selfish, I'm not taking into consideration your family, friends, and anyone you know.

I suck at these serious moments -- I MEAN I SAID THE WORD I LIKE TEN TIMES THAN I SAID YOU

I just want to say I love you and I'm so glad you were able to make it out alive.

Reply WiispNightmare, April 27th, 2017, 12:39 pm

@WildfireK: You get used to almost dying.
I'm glad I survived too, who would tell my stories?
